A Tribute to My Dad

I was always told that I was my dad's favorite of the three siblings. I'm not sure why since I am the oldest of the three and sometimes felt like the guinea pig for everything!

Either way, my dad and I had a pretty good relationship. He taught me how to have a good sense of humor.

One of dad's funny photos he sends us

He also taught me to appreciate the world. You  see, he served our country for more than 20 years, which meant moving to a new state or country every three years!

He reminded me all the time how family is always important. People may come and go in your life but family will always be there for you no matter what.

Most importantly, he showed me (along with mom) how unconditional love can last a long time!

You know how girls sometimes look for qualities like their dad in their future husband? Yep! That was me! My hubby has a lot of dad's qualities too.

Happy Father's Day dad!

  9. I am the eldest by 7.5 years! I was honestly kind of upset when I found out I was having a little sister. I guess I didn't want to share! I agree, sometimes it does make you feel like a guinea pig!

Great tribute to your dad and thanks for stopping by my blog earlier.

    1. So you do feel me? I'm the oldest by 4 years to my brother and by 6 years to my sister. It wasn't fun for awhile there because I had to set the example. All good though! We all like each other now! LOL! Thanks so much for stopping by :)
