A Self Interview Hosted by Texas Women Bloggers

A Selfie Blogger Interview

Since I am semi new to Texas by way of Hawaii and Las Vegas, I wanted to see if there were other Texans I can connect with in the Blogger World. Lo and behold, I found  Texas Women Bloggers and they were having a blog hop called A Self-Interview Link Party. So what do I do? Participate of course! Here is my interview:

  • What part of the state do you call home?
       San Antonio, TX
  • How long have you been blogging?
Officially January of 2013 for 1 week. Picked it back up last March
  • Why did you start blogging?
To get rid of writer's block for school.
  • What do you hope to get out of the Texas Women Bloggers community?
To connect with other bloggers from the State of Texas.
  • Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Finished with my doctoral studies and officially be called Dr. Dy.
  • If you could choose an actress to play you in your life, who would you choose and why?
Winona Ryder because I can relate to her.
  • Name 5 things on your Bucket List that you hope you’ll check off before you die?
       See South America
       See Spain
       Swim with Dolphins
Head to Disneyland with my kids
       Move back to Asia

  • If you could be known for one thing, what would it be and why?
I made a difference in someone's life through mentoring.
  • Describe one “wow” moment in your life.
Running 3 marathons in 3 different states within a year and a half
  • If you could “be” anything (no consequences, no fear), what would you “be”?
       A business owner

On our honeymoon we "swam" with dolphins which was just basically getting in pool connected to the ocean and reaching our hand out ot touch them as they swam by.

Just a heads up - DO NOT TOUCH THE RED SPOT. Haha.

    1. Hi Janine,

Thanks a bunch! That was quite a feat when remembering it. Funny, one of those states was not TX. It will be on my to-do list since I also have to run one in Hawaii too.

  6. Hey there! Love that you travel - I've only been to China as far as leaving the states. But, my SIL is from Hawaii and I've been to Vegas a few too many times, so yay for common ground! :)

  13. What are you studying? I, unfortunately, stopped about 1/3 of the way through on my PhD. My brother, he is suffering from writer's block and procrastinating on writing his dissertation! Keep up the good work!
